World Elastic Corp's yarns are typically made with core materials of rubber, spandex or neoprene, with covers typically consisting of polyester, nylon, polypropylene, rayon, wool or cotton.  World also makes elastic yarns with technical fibers such as aramids, high molecular weight polyethylene and other advanced polymers, depending upon the application and end-use requirements.
